Save, locate and play

1. Copy the public Facebook video link and paste it into VidTote.
2. Find the video, choose an available quality and select Save MP4.
3. Follow the browser’s Save dialog or download prompt. The folder may be Downloads or a location you selected.
4. Open the browser’s download list and check that the transfer finished.
5. Reveal the file in its folder and open it in a player. Check picture and sound.

Use the fallback that your browser offers

Try browser download asks the source to deliver an attachment; the browser and source decide how to handle it. It is a request to save, not proof of a completed file.

Open video file opens the source file in a separate tab. A browser may offer Save video as or another download control there. Playing the video is not the same as saving it.

If a browser’s transfer method is blocked, another browser or available MP4 quality may work. VidTote does not relay the video through its server as a fallback.

Check the actual result

A file can finish transferring yet be incompatible with a particular player. Try another available quality or a compatible player if needed.

Source audio metadata can be incomplete. A sound-status label is not a file inspection; listen to the saved file before treating it as usable.
